  The salmon burger i had was excellent and had good tartar sauce with high quality tomato which is hard to find this time of the year. i was there with family friends and my brother and his wife. My sister in law had a salad with crab cake salad that was excellent. The other people in my party were similarly impressed. If i were to describe to my friends in the DC area I would say it is comparable to Franklin's in Hyattsville, MD without the noise. Franklin's is a special place to me besides the CIA quality food it has a very friendly staff and it is the last place my late wife and i eat before she died. To have such a nice friendly eating place with good value for the money is a real treasure. I had been to this cafe several years ago and it was very good then it has improved to be aan excellent family cafe.

  The food is beyond subpar, service is non-existent, and the owner has a poor attitude. I guess he can afford to since there is so few food places in the area. The only pro to the place was the outdoor seating and wine bar that isn't open yet.
